You don't have to wait you can just dump it like others do. No there won't be any reliable wallet for it as like bitcoin because it is anyway altcoin and does not fit the criteria really.

BCC turned out another altcoin may be comparable to ethereum and litecoin but it can't take place of bitcoin in any dimension. Let's just hope it doesn't. Don't expect magical movement of this coin and just sell whatever you gave now. If it could get dumped from 0.4 BTC to 0.1 BTC then you can imagine it could be worth of satoshi soon. So just sell it.
