It is not that easy to get back the coins that they have lost,unless they get lucky when they send the coins to the exchanges they have some deal going on i guess,it is a really pathetic situation for them and this has really had an impact with their project i guess.

It is not about calming down,there are money at stake for the investors and longer the project gets halted the longer the time your money will be dead money which could have being used else where and earn more profit,so these are the worries for any investors,hope they will sort out everything soon.
