What innovations or differences over existing blockchain based distributed cloud storage models does the king of net provide? There is very little info on the tech, or how you are trying to achieve these goals.
Well, the existing cloud storage solutions are all fairly similar, i.e. Sia, Storj, filecoin. Maidsafe is not, but their goals are too lofty.
Sia and Storj are all solid projects but The King of Net is distinct from solutions like Sia and Storj in two major ways:
redundancy and rewards/incentives.
For example, to join Sia, you need to pay 50,000 siacoins just to be able to provide service! It will take a lot of time simply to recoup that investment. In TKON, we want to reward the people providing service and to encourage them to maintain stability and increase their contributions to the system. Because the rewards hardminers receive are dependent on those factors.
Storj is a great project, but they want the users to spend a lot of time ensuring redundancy, checking ledgers, i.e. doing a lot of tough work. In TKON, many processes are automated and redundancy is ensured mainly by duplication and self-replication. In particular, self-replication is the largest innovation that differentiates TKON from competitors. This system warrants the safety of files if a certain node goes offline.
