Even more claiming bcc/bch through desktop or hardware wallet is so risky as their are scam wallets which steals your btc when you download the bch/bcc wallet and try to claim the free bch/bcc.
My Trezor worked great, just a couple days late. They programmed in a "sweep", so all transaction history prior to Aug 1 12:20, was compressed into one. It looks like I've only received one transaction instead of the entire history. Pretty good for reducing Unspent Transaction Outputs.
And there goes your privacy. You'll have no idea which unspent outputs are linked with which other ones when you start transacting BCH.
