i lost money when invest in this team on havelock.
why any different now,
get ready to lose money again
I'm not affiliated with the company, but have had shares since (I think) 2013 or shortly after - so early on, but after the initial offering on Havelock. Assuming I would/could sell today, I'm roughly even in BTC terms (maybe a little bit up, even), and obviously well ahead in fiat terms over that period. I'm thankful that my shares will be on a platform with actual liquidity now, but am planning on holding in any case (I've learned that I'm not good at timing markets, plus I think this team knows what they're doing, and they've repeatedly looked after their investors instead of cutting and running).
That said, all of this is a leveraged risk investment, with several sets of risk layered on top of each other - crypto-currency (regulatory and technical risk), gaming (regulatory, hacking, shifting consumer taste risks), small company (I know, not really a startup, but still there's 'n' degree of risk of failure with any given set of small companies), platform risk (Waves may be great, but it's still new so who knows) etc etc. So don't put in your retirement fund!
