Great spirit there and you're absolutely right not to bend to the will of one exchange that apparently seeks to optimize their revenue, which in itself isn't all that unethical but may well be met with opposition such as yours which I hold in a higher regard that simply seeking turnover.

Drawing the line isn't easy but it proves dedication to the project rather than to the projects value, which normally follows from dedication.
