Is this project going to work just as a database and not a token to be allowed to buy event tickets or something else too?
I have a friend who is CEO of a reputed event management company in India and if this allows users to be used the way I have asked, then I think I may need to ask them to prefer this over normal paper currency as this is completely new as well as chances of its growth (based on price appreciation) are very high. If so, can it be done during the ICO period also? I think they have many ongoing projects and may include VIB to their portal which could give it good exposure.

Not sure if I completely understand your question, but in case you're asking if the token will also be used for buying tickets the answer is yes. We plan to integrate a feature that will allow artists and event organizers to issue ERC20 tokens that will actually work as event tickets. One token = one ticket. Buyers will be able to use them to attend the event or trade them on our Decentralized Ticket Exchange in case they won't be able to attend.
Is there a buyback policy for any event management companies who are planning to invest?
I asked my friend whom I was talking about, but they said that they are scared of investing into something that may prove to be much volatile and they need stability so I am asking this to assure them that there will be a buyback possibility by the issuers of the token.
Here's a quote from our white-paper describing the buyback mechanics.

It's great to have such policy because the investor will be advertising their campaigns through various platforms about the upcoming concert which is going to held here in our city and they are a bit down about the possibility of getting dumped as they are taking it as a stock market and it's really hard to set everything about all this in their minds. I will ask them to contact one of your representatives as I think it would be better not to move ahead alone and let the team members manage the rest.
