I guess it's due to rounding errors of the 8th decimal place.

Actually there is an easy mode (Reporting -> Easy Enter Statistics).
OK, it will not show any historical balances nor advanced gain calculations, but if you only want to track your current assets with a basic gains review, it can be a good choice.

Speaking of advanced gain calculations...
