This is the problem of ICO - you never know for sure whether there will be profit in the project. This, of course, is not always the case, but personally I'm not too experienced an investor - I have not received any big profits so far.
I had a few good investments, but there were bad investments. Much is decided by chance, it is impossible to calculate everything.
Not everything, but it is possible to calculate a lot.
