Yes. If someone is asking you for your private keys, it is indeed a scam attempt. But OP is not doing that.

He is only teaching users on how to export private keys from Blockchain and even telling you to use Electron Cash - where he don't have access to your private keys - so you can spend your BCC safely.

I would only call this a scam if OP was telling you to send him those keys (which he is not).

OP is simply giving instructional assistance in deriving private keys from a blockchain wallet.

Ok, to you two and Tonnes, I'll rescind my accusation and delete the original post. Sorry for my overreaction. There have been several threads where people claim to be scammed using the exact same process...however in those scenarios I'm assuming they were asked to send the private keys and pass phrase to an individual or a link that was not solely controlled by the exchange.

If you haven't seen these threads recounting theft I'll be happy to share them with you. My intent is only to protect others from becoming the subject to the same unfortunate circumstance.
