Hi there. So i wanted to give it a try and used a small wallet to check if electron cash is safe to use. Well it is not. I imported a wallet using all the precautions needed to save my bitcoins, and imported a small amount of bcc into the wallet. A couple of minutes later the bcc were sent away like magic. Farewell...

I am pretty sure that it really depends on where you get the wallet from. There's a bunch of websites out there that state that they have an Electron Cash wallet though they have some kind of virus placed onto it so the money could get transferred without the person being around to approve it.So be carefull!!!

I've used the official wallet and did what it stated to do within their website and I was able to get Bitcoin Cash without losing any Bitcoin (I did have to spend about 0.0001 BTC as a transaction fee).
After I've received Bitcoin Cash I just sent it to an exchange.
