I prefer gold because someday bitcoin will end. Even satoshi said it that the invented alogaritm will end and it will base on how many users of bitcoin. Then let's enjoy while it last, there is no such permanent things in this world but the decentralization is something that is a great
idea that will remain. If bitcoin will not succeed then for sure there will be new coin that will emerge and replace its position now.
With the features of bitcoin, there is really a good potential that it will stay here for long if not forever. We just imagine the value of being non regulated and decentralized value of coin where we can use on our financial transactions? Not to mention that it has some sort of anonymity...
