I don't think that you can call it instant since it takes alot of time until it reaches a significant difference from between where you bought it until you can make big profit and cash out, unless you bought like 6 years ago a large amount of btc for a really cheap price.

But there is still alot of room to make money with bitcoin or even get rich with it if you're smart and have the requierd know-how. If you really think about it, only a small percentage of the world population really knows about bitcoin and as more as it grows the more people will join us and want some of the cake that belongs to the early-birds like us so they will have to pay a hefty price for it in the future to be able to be a part of it.
