When I get a code with I or l it looks exactly the same and I need to find out what is what

The code is 4 chars long. If with the time more and more people play, won't it be difficult to find new free codes? Or will you use old codes with the time?
Currently there are ~9.834.496 possible codes. Would just be interesting what happens, when two same codes are generated.
