If I have $10,000 in 2010 then I would not invest into something that only a few knew about. They have predictions that it will rise in value but I would still be doubtful about it. Only those people who believe that its price will rise invest on it. Many people regret why they did not buy bitcoin earlier but its too late now so lets just acquire some as much as we can now since there are still  so many people who doesn't know about it and when there is mass adoption, price will shoot up.
