This is insanely good work.
Thank you for doing the write up. I hope someone does similar work on -how to write and configure .bat files manually and what each option in the file stands for and means.
Btw I have a question.
I have a Regular gaming pc
I have these slots.
Slot 1: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i
Slot 2: PCI-Express x4 Gen 2
Slot 3: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i
Slot 4: PCI-Express x1 Gen 2
Slot 5: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i
and 1500 watt PSU
Also, what's your recommendations as to - if I get 1 x 1080ti or dual 1070 ? considering 1070 is an year old and if currency goes down even more 1080ti will hold better value.
Hey, thank you very much.
I will do some improvements to the guide in the next few days. I will add instructions for the most famous windows miners, nvidia card recommendations, and nvidia overclocking guide for mining. Check back in a few days please.

About your last question, PCI bandwidth or version doesn't have a perceptible effect on mining (it has some 5% impact on gaming tho). If your mobo got 5 PCI slots, potentially you can mine 5 GPUs (if you are not using one of the PCI for a adapter, for instance), just buy some powered risers (usually they are PCIEx1, but take care with what you are buying). Also, check if your mobo got an extra molex connector to power the PCIE connectors, mining is pretty power intensive, and you will not want to power 5 power hungry gpus using just one molex connector because eventually your mobo will burn. I will add this to the guide, thank you.
The 1500 PSU is way more than you need even if you do not undervolt those cards, but ideally you will want to undervolt each of them to 100W area. I have added a PSU calculator to the resources area. Take a look please.
