Altcoins on average in the long run will always underperform Bitcoin, remember it. Bitcoin reflects overall market rise and takes benefit from all new coins being listed. And also many altcoins have higher inflation rate than bitcoin. Buy and hold altcoins only if you expect to get at least x3 in fiat in the next year (and maybe even x5 to be safe). Will Syscoin reach 300M market cap? That's a good question, I don't know. It has good potential, but its blockchain doesn't show real transactions. Maybe something will change after Blockmarket is released.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sys/If you see "1" there, it means just a transaction to pay mining reward, so they don't count. The rest of transactions are real transactions, but there are just too few of them, maybe 10 per hour or less. You can compare it to GameCredits, another currency that is going to be used on a market (gaming in that case).
