What is the common difference between bitcoin and altcoin ?
Bitcoin is first and famous cryptocurrency, they used sha256 as algorithm. Altcoin is other coin than bitcoin because nowadays bitcoin as standard pair for cryptocurrency, they have various algorithm and mechanism. So if any new coin launched people will also called it as altcoin
