Ripple has gone past its bottom at 3500 satoshis I think.We will see good upward movement in the coming weeks, if my calculations are right. 
I hope what you are saying is right. Ripple has been silent for a long time already. This should stop, or else Ripple might be totally forgotten. Movements should be seen and felt every now and then so that people, who are more or less focused on new coins, will give attention to XRP.
Forgotten?
When banks will use XRP widely that will mean all web services like Google Adsense, ShutterStock, iStockPhoto, PayPal etc. (thousands of them) will send money to their customers in seconds, maybe even without minimum treshold (or much lesser then now).
It will be very convenient even if XRP price will be the same. And it will change the world of financial transactions entirely.
The next step for those web services is to use XRP directly without banks.
And nobody will remembers about Bitcoin and other currencies at that moment.
Are you seriously thinking that people needs to have 700+ currencies to make transactions?
