You really don't see GB surpassing $1.5K in the next 5 years?

Hasn't Bitfinex stopped acceepting US residents? Maybe the number of ByteBallers in the US is insignificant but I doubt it.
It has, but that doesn't really matter.
OK then. It's just that Bittrex is already a pretty big exchange and, based on most new coins I've seen advertised on this forum, where they aspire to end up on.
That aside, shouldn't the 10% reduction in GB received for linking BTC addresses in the upcoming airdrop be enough incentive for people to convert their BTC to GB?
Nothing is an incentive to convert BTC to any altcoin. That's like stabbing yourself in the foot.
To each their own then.

Well there is an option and I believe it's been there for quite a while, it's just ~47% more expensive than on Bittrex.

BTW, that's the price excluding fees.
