The detractor to OP's comment does not realize that being desensitized is exactly the problem.  You say these things don't effect you, and therefore should not effect others.  This is called privilege.  It is quite likely you were born in a position of power, and have had very little chance to experience being the victim.  Should we ban certain types of speech?  Nah..  but should people say something about it?  Of course!  Keep it up.  Take back the internet from trolls.
