People losing passwords... Is this really happening.....
Ugh... okay then.
Only few people who lost their password but this fault of them OP is providing the solution to get recover their coin just by paying 10% fee. They will get their coins back on new address that is very simple method to get recover.
Do you know from where the devs are distributing the lost coins? Does it mean that the total supply of the coin is increased now?
There are no lost tokens, the total supply can not be increased. Some holders lost access to their wallets, thereby in cooperation with OpenLedger we offer this service to restore the access. Technically it means moving from the origin (lost) wallet to a new one. So, there is nothing about distribution of new tokens.
This option for CVCOIN will be available until end of September 2017.
Taking this opportunity I would advise and remind all CVCoin holders to make a backup of wallet and keep it safe place and do not forget the password.
Making backup it's very simple process, allows to restore Wallet and move it to another devices.
In this case, Bitshares wallet is very safe place to keep tokens, not only CVCOIN, as well as BTC, ETH or other support currencies.
But in case of lost backup or password, recovering process is not easy and require manual work. This is a reason we charge special fee 10% for this.
