john is ready to send it to friedcat asap. friedcat has said it's ok to add extra orders before shipping, so we'll place the order and if we get further payment, so be it. but, aside from those who've spoken up, i doubt it'll happen. ...sucks to be them?

oh for fucks sake. ASICMINER uses QFN packages for their chips. there's a metal plate on the bottom of them, and they dissipate heat into the pcb and through openings in it to the other side. avalon is the same way. and, as explained in the AM thread, they run fine WITHOUT the heatsink, but there's risk of burning your fingers.

Guys, don't you think the device looks suspicious? Why heat dissipator is attached to the other side, not to a chip? Make me believe this is no a scam )
