it does work ...
you just need patience as it is going through tor nodes and will require a good connection with a full blockchain to sync ...
patience doesnt seem to be a strong point with people in crypto ...
ALWAYS check that you firewall is allowing the ports through - and that no antivirus ( if in windows ) is blocking the wallet or ports ...
these sync issues will be thing of the past when we get our backend setup finished also - for the support of sweepstakecoin ... so you wont have to add anything in the conf when that is done - it will just sync ...
tor is a pain - i must admit ... i have found it difficult also - and in the new thread - we will hold a poll to gauge what the community thinks of the tor aspect of the coin ... i personally dont like it - as it causes way too many problems than its worth ... so im for removing tor altogether ...
we are working on the new thread today - with a VERY BASIC op - so that strasboug can lock this thread ...
testing our pool - and still have some issues ... seems the daemon / wallet doesnt like being compiled in centos 7 ... an issue we have never seen before happening when a block is solved ... so we need to work this out somehow ... so any one that has experience with centos 7 and this kind of daemon - would be welcome ... none of our other daemons have anything like this issue - so we need it resolved asap ...
next post will be on the new thread - and will inform strasboug first so he can post here and lock ...
#crysx
centos 7 is your first problem.
my pool was working fine; just brought it down for some maintenance work.. seems noone was using it

it is basic, true; however one user (oldschoolgamer) was basically solving blocks on his own.
it lacks a hashrate readout which is a pain in the ass to code..
whats happening to yr daemon when a block is solved?
centos 7 x64 is what we have ...
but agreed - its a pain ... we will not move off it - as its what we do - and what we can maintain - secure - and build on ... or at least - redhat based systems ...
lets take this to the new thread thats been created so we can start afresh ... or in pm or skype ... thats a lot easier ...
