nobody knows whats going to happen next. You don't always need news for a dramatic price change. Crypto is not all about news. Did you see any news for europecoin, eboost, adx, trig or any other random coin that got pumped?
People will buy anything if they think they will make money off it.

The only good explanation for this price rise is the influx of new users and BTC trading volume. SLR was bound to get some of that volume at some point.
