Whales created a sell wall?
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm relatively new to crypto and might have missed some information in the development of Ripple.
But as far as I know, Ripple founders kept 80 billion of 100 billion Ripple when offering.
You know what I think? The Ripple founders just start selling whenever demand for Ripple has gone up. They make money - Ripple price goes down again. I wouldn't invest into Ripple until there's at least 80 billion Ripple in circulation.
After a lot of people raised concerns about the huge XRP holdings Ripple had, Ripple put 55bn of it in an escrow. They are now selling up to a billion per month (recently 300m per month) from that escrow. Somehow the escrow is limited to a bn sold per month, but who can really audit this?
So yes, they certainly can and possibly have put up a sell wall, and are controlling the price of the token by selling more (or less) each month.
