This may or may not answer your question, but payout also depends on actually finding blocks. Yesterday was a bad day for that as it took about 130% of expected time to find monero blocks, so your payout would be about 30% less than expected. Luck is important but it all averages out in the end.

C 9.4 KH / s only shows = Last 24 Hours 0.14251491? Must be at least 0.21 XMR! what happened to the difference?
