If the snapshot is the 31st or 1st and is does not have Bittrex support then they need to announce that ASAP.
The Spreadcoin wallet takes a day to download the blockchain so alot of people who have only coins on Bittrex and no local wallet would get F...ed
Taking that into account the most likely annoucement this week will be the snapshot is not happening this week.
or a more positive anoucement could be Bittrex fully supports snapshot and will list helium.
I think the best possible anouncement(for me) is they anounce Bittrex support and snapshot happens in two or three weeks. This would give more time for helium prospectors to buy more spreadcoin (and me more time to mine it.)
There was no announcement yet, but we can be sure that the snapshot won't happen this week, not even in the next two weeks.
When it was postponed, we were told the snapshot date will be closer to the start date which takes the snapshot date roughly to middle of September.
But you are right, it takes a day at least do download and sync the wallet. That's why I have already downloaded and start it up for an hour once in every other day just to keep it synced in case Bittrex won't participate.
