To unlock simplewallet try to start it before the daemon.

Try this

1) launch the daemon after the sync exit to the daemon...
2) start simplewallet ignoring errors,  try to press the enter key to see if it works and try to list the balnce it should works even the red network errors!
3) restart the daemon ... after the sync you can ..
4) press again enter in simplewallet to get the prompt!
