A cryptocoin should now have a unique algorithm in order to live. Much of the cryptocoins are basically dead.
Observe BTC vs BCH war closely and you'll see.
Maybe a useful algorythm, like gridcoin, primecoin, gapcoin etc is more useful than a unique algorhythm. Cryptography itself is a murky thing and a new hashing algorhythm may not be useful long term, but there will absolutely be a trend towards useful algo coins.
How about simple marketing.
No one can invest in mindcoin unless they know about it. And while no marketing is being done, someone with bigger funds can easily profuce something similar and get further....I mean like mindcoin community contributing and advertising on coinmatketcap for one.
Awareness of the coin is important. Coinmarketcap may not be best, this coin is meant to provide a mh consumer economy so maybe ads on mental healthy sites better. I've thought about that and will probably do something like that if the coin stabilizes. Until mining is secure, the network is secure, a person should focus on that and I don't know much about that.
Once network problems have been fixed, and block times are even and mining is fair then post an idea and I'll probably support it and try to help.
