We do believe that Kickstarter does help us ensure that there is a level of legitimacy.  Kickstarter does its due diligence to ensure that we are an officially registered company (which we are) and that we provide proofs of our identity.  In addition, Kickstarter clearly protects against companies/individuals that clearly are looking to hurt the backer's trust.   With Kickstarter, we have a third-party that can ensure that we deliver on the promise.
