I bought some Embercoin (~150k) with gambling money and began staking. My PC has been on for about 2 days staking but I noticed that the weight doesn't rise. It just stays the same as the number of coins. Is that normal? The Expected time to reward changes randomly between 1 day to 9 days.

Edit: PS, What happens September 15 when the new wallet comes out? How will I get my new coins?
Yes this is normal for EMB your weight will be spent when you POS a block, as more people are staking it take longer to get your POS block but it will happen randomly. After 12 hours you will get that spent weight back.
They will be implementing Master Nodes on the 15th so the new wallet is just to add that functionality, The coins will be the same, will use the same wallet.dat and blockchain. Hard fork are normally when they create a different blockchain with a new coin.
