Could be anything: burst posting, maybe an account that was sleeping. I dont know.

Mind you: loads of double accounts applied for airdrop. Sometimes 3 accounts at the same IP.
Team got itchy because of this cheating
Why didn't they start small (80/20 rule and like you said double accounts / multiple IP's to start with) and go from there instead of all 'scam' possible options at once.
The impact would be much lower imho and the price adjustment was real an dnot based on human emotions (angry people dump)

All I can think of is that everyone underestimated the bloody impact this project is having.
Now they -dev team- is reviewing their options.
All you need to know is: Be careful to follow the rules of signatures and articles. Keep your onions above 90%. Do not use more than 1 account per IP. Contribute articles, video tutorials, help novices, etc. for more rewards.
Simply put, the rest do not care if you do not understand. The dev team has their proper standards. And as far as I can see, blacklist cases are fair (of course there are some who are unjust, but not many).
