Hello guys , I see a lot of people mining XMR with amazon aws , and I can get amazon aws full region account , and I want to mine alt coins myself . but I have no idea . currently I am mining xmr using minergate.com pool .

can you guys tell me ? which alt coin is more profitable to mine , and which miner pool is best to mine , is minergate is fine ?

and on which machine I should mine , Linux or windows , and which version is best for mining .
