I have only a few thousands and I also picked not to withdraw now. I'm going down with the ship if that is.
By allowing people to cash out 55%, and also actually sending out these funds, BTC-E has proven that they aren't thieves, but everything could have been done in a better way.
I strongly believe that their 55% withdrawal offer isn't exactly fair, but very effective ~ it will allow them to lower their overall debt by using the 45% abandoned by those who agreed to withdraw to fill the gap.
I think it's fair to say that the increased crypto prices made accepting that 55% a whole lot more easy. In other words, the suffered losses will be compensated by the values that more or less doubled.
