What if you put the windforce in PCIe x16 (alone) is it working?

it was normaly over 90C i refreshed the thermal paste and i blow all dust out with a compressor
now it works fine
i gived fanspeed to 75-80% and he go max to 75C
im using zeccash miner, i tryed the newerst version and the 1.2.3 version.. all the same bad..
the windforce isn´t new :/ i bought it used
EDIT:-> i dont know what you mean with "powered" riser i use normaly riser
you mean to put it on the mobo ? i never tryed.. good think, i will try it later
