I figured as much / wouldn't expect you to say something that did not happen. People who leave retaliatory fake negatives just confirm that the negative they have received (regardless of the reason) is warranted, i.e. that they are not trustworthy.

It seems that people can't understand the basic concept: Behave according to the implied forum etiquette, and don't do anything shady and all those "false negative ratings" won't exist in the first place.
