I have had a good experience with Gemini. Verification only took 1 week or so (this was earlier this year), and there are no withdrawal fees. Trading fees are reasonable, unlike the Coinbase 1.5%. ACH withdrawals have been smooth. Haven't tried a wire withdrawal yet but I hear that it is reliable.
Saddam: Use Coinbase's GDAX exchange, not their "retail" user interface... much lower trading %
I've found Kraken's interface with the bank systems kind of hit or miss, quirky. FWIW as bad as coinbase can be sometimes they've been pretty good for fiat withdrawals via ACH: I see the money in my checking account almost always within just a day or two, sometimes (rarely) same day.
I usually sell whatever coin for just plain bitcoin BTC, transfer that to coinbase/GDAX wallet, sell for dollars and withdraw ACH. Works well. But, again FWIW have not really done this *that* much as honestly I rarely sell anything LOL just mostly HODL and only occasionally have to pull out some of that old-fashion weird printed paper money for something
