Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer
So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head

I will say "Bitcoin is like a fiat money that we normally used, but the difference is, it only exist in the Web". That's a single sentence but I am confident that the newcomer will easily comprehend and able to formulate new ideas in his/her mind. I know that's not enough to jusytify the meaning of btc so I advice him to do his reasearch and ask someone familiar with bitcoins to understand more. Cheers
