I think that it's nice of people to chime in with a few nice words. Online communication tends to quickly devolve into hateful crap. So that's a positive thing in my book.

As for the pre-sale reopened thing. It's the same pre-sale that has been extended and the reasons for doing so were clearly explained in a dedicated blog post.
