Why would that drive up the price? The miners will switch to whatever coin is the most profitable.

I've been waiting for ETC to go up but it never has not like the other coins. Wanna know why? Because everyone knows it will never get used for anything other than speculation. ETC is for day trading not for investments.. thats my 2 cents.
