I pay great attention to the license, there are many new websites, these web sites do not have licenses but they can bet with Bitcoin, I think it is not necessary.


License doesn't mean that players are protected, it's mean that is controlled by authority, that's all,


To open a bank and a merchant account
To work with electronic payment system providers
To use gaming content from reputable, white-market providers
For more effective marketing and oftentimes better player conversion
For increased player loyalty stemming from perceived reputability of the casino

in the moment that you gonna use bitcoin... you "could" have problem in some countries as UK, USA, Russia, China.... due the bitcoin perceived as money
depends if your players play without confirming the ID.

On the other side, using an altcoin, without exchange on your website,
at moment you are not considered illegal by the governaments because the token (could be used as playmoney) so no cash...
another point for altcoin is that is not possible to pay tax in altcoin Cheesy

The only problem is in peoples trust of the gaming platform...

there need to be ambicious and serious project that make players identity and altcoin safe
