Gamblers with Debt is not new. Many of Gamblers (Addict Gamblers) had debts. I personally experienced that long time ago when I'm addicted to a dice game. I borrow some BTC for my friend in exchange for my salary for a month. I lose multiple times and wasted my 2 months salary just on playing Dice. I remember PD was the Dice site where I lose money.  
As I've said, Gamblers with Debts is normal.
