What happens to the tokens when they are used? Do they get burned? Couldn't find this anywhere

The current plan is to not burn the coins in Alexandria.
However, there are plans to create a system by which burning FLO indicates some other meaning on the blockchain. This is what we are calling the "Burn Engine" for now. This is separate and not related to Alexandria. Think of it like the timelock mechanism needed to register a DNS in the various other blockchain DNS systems. In our case, we want to provide an SDK enabling anyone to program with the FLO blockchain using burned coins as proof-of-value; perhaps for authorization or anti-sybil purposes.
