It's too hard for an erc223 token to be listed on an main exchange, dev team has done their work , so yes, let's bother bittrex.
what is the difference between an ERC20 and an ERC223 token ? can someone explain me that in short words without getting too technical!
If you accidentally send ERC-20 tokens to some random contract (as opposed to another user), those tokens will be effectively lost unless the contract is specifically designed to handle the transfer.
ERC-223 adds a function to ERC-20 which could cause those accidental transfers to revert and would effectively block accidental token transfers to random contracts.
