This was my first guess at what was/is going on, its so blatantly obvious.
makes no sense for them to ship right now when they can hash, then ship later.
they would be losing money by actually shipping now.
if you`ve been sitting there a full year, then yes... you may actually get a jelly out of em (by going mad) but as for anything else....

Nah, it isn't the smart thing. The smart thing to do is to ship, making people wallop your account full like crazy and at the same time keeping your percentage of the network at the same level.
This is how I would do it and how I would advertise it. Basically I would say "For every three miners shipped, we take on into operation on our own."
