Bill Gates stated that the Bitcoin is the future and that it is better than currency. Would you assume that his statement (as one of the many reasons) added value on Bitcoin which made it stronger and more stable in the system? 
I think it is true in part. Our world is growing, technology is the direction everyone needs, so bitcoin can be a common currency in the future.

Yeah that might just make up the bitcoin in more structural type of asset if Bill Gates says so. They have always been keen in understanding the technology and whatever came out of satoshi is real deal, a deal of excellence that Bill recognised as potential of new technology advancement and the currency which can control the future of earth. Anything can happen because if there was a computer who calculated addition of two figures in a day and now there is snartwatch which can predict the weather condition then yeah surely there is bitcoin today and after decade later of profits so there will be digital currency all over the world.
