What do you mean being down? Pull up coinmarketcap, and look at coin returns over the last 1m/3m/6m. Almost every coin is up 10s or 100s or 1000s of percentage points in just the last few months.

Now, maybe you put some money into an alt (or shit) coin at an ATM, and now you are down. But on the whole, the entire crypto market is super inflated. Lots of speculative money flying into every new coin. Huge market caps for many, many coins.
