Rich is a relative term I guess . For me I would like to pay for my house I live in and then everything you earn after that is yours to do what you want with and no one is charging you crazy interest for a mortgage. I think you could live well and feel quite rich just by not having a mortgage as it is the most expensive debt in the world.
Just say it living a decent life and that's all enough. But it's popular that everyone his having the same dream and that is to become rich. There's no problem if you are dreaming of it too, if you want to have a well living life why not try to upgrade some more and become rich, we all want it that way because we will not be thinking about financial problem anymore.
I believe that when you get rich then that is how the real essence of life starts because you will enjoy your life and you can now do whatever you want because it is not that hard for you anymore to deal with daily life since you got a lot of money and financial problems are not problems anymore because it is impossible for a rich person to encounter that.
