do you have a screenshot? i tried downloading 0.7 and i instantly see window w/background and there's text like:

this seems like a problem specific to the 0.7 mac wallet. we need help from the wallet developers.

Do they read this thread often?

your best bet is to sign up on github and post there, they reply quickly if it's serious.
